Paypal Not Communicating Back to Zen?

We just updated our cart to 1.3.7 from 1.2.6 and had verified the Paypal IPN as operational and working well for 4 hours. Then we received our last Paypal order confirmation at 1:08EST.

I have verified the following:

We are not using Paypal Express just Paypal IPN. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled and tested but still not receiving order confirmations back from the cart. After completing the test orders and returning to the site its going to the last order, not the order just completed. Thus the completed order is not in the customers account nor our admin. I have confirmed that we are receiving the Paypal Payments though.

I have also checked and confirmed the following settings in Paypal.

Our Instant Payment Notification Preferences URL is correct and the IPN is turned on.

Our Automatic Return URL in in Website Payments Preferences is also correct and we do have the auto return set to on.

Payment Data Transfer is off, Block Non-encrypted Website Payment is off, and PayPal Account Optional is on.

Is anyone else experiencing trouble? If not does any have any suggestions on I may have overlooked?

FYI I have resolved this issue. I discovered that the individual who updated our cart to the current version did not update the ipn_handler file and once that was corrected and I reinstalled the payment module I confirmed both Paypal IPN and Express are operational.

Thanks for the update that it was just a befuddle file and the need to remove, install and configure the module again ... :smile:

Not a bad job for upgrading a site from that many versions ago ... :cool:

Not too shabby, it was the fact that it was running off cache for 4 hours that made it such a baffling issue to resolve.
