How to change the product listing page?

I searched the forum but couldnt find the answer, problably not using the right words.

i want to change my product listing page with the image in the center, description under neath it, add a space to the buttons for prev next and move price next to add to cart.

is there an easy way for me to do this? i dont know how to customize css.
If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it! My current page looks sooo smooshed.

I may be wrong, but I suspect that you mean your product info page, rather than your product listing page. There are about 5 product listing pages in the current version of Zen Cart (i.e. for all products, new products, featured products, specials and category listings) each of which lists a number of products at a time, but just one product info page which gives detailed information about a specific product.

To change the product info page layout, you would need to change the includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php file to re-arrange where the various items you listed are placed. Depending upon the changes you make there, I'm afraid that you may also need to make some CS changes to finish the job.

Well if anyone is willing to assist me, i would really appreciate it. I can pm you my tpl file, I just need a few things changed. I tried looking at the CSS but I have no idea what the heck im doing.! :cry: :cry: :schmoll:

Can anyone recommend a good software progam for doing this/ i tried firefox but It didnt help me. Anything good for a novice??
