how to remove product image from subcategory page

I don't want a product image for each individual product... I turned the images off in each individual project description, but still in the subcategory listing of all the products "Product Image" is listed as a field header, and space is there where the picture should be.
I can live with the space (altho I'd rather not) but how to remove it from the header at least?

FOUND IT! Thanks for anyone reading this but there it is in the catalog/product listing menu.
Where one can turn off product images. Whew.
