Products displaying incorrect price - v.1.3.6

Hi

To begin this, my default currency is Gb Pounds and is set to 1.000000

My site is here **http://www.logo-golfballs.co.uk/shop/**

Please view the Hot Products!

They are all displaying prices incorrectly, but in quite a strange manner.

If you take the Callaway Golf Warbird 2-Peice, for example, it diaplyes a price of £14.90. The starting price for this product is actually £14.95. This 'zero on the end' seems to happen to all products, also in admin, when a product has a 5 at the end (e.g £14.95 displays as £14.90).

If you then click on the Warbird golf ball it also displays the price as £14.90, when it should be £14.95. The prices are displaying correctly in the attributes though?

I must note that products are priced by attributes.

I just can't understand why it would dispay as £14.90 as apposed to £14.95.

Help would be much appreciated!

I believe this is a bug, at this juncture, because i can find no reason why it is doing this. When buying products the pricing system works fine, just isn't displaying properly.

Re: Products displaying incorrect price - v.1.3.6

To illustrate further...

If you go to this page http://www.logo-golfballs.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=199, you will notice that the start at price is £13.90, when the actual start at price (on the attribute drop downs) is £12.95!!

I have looked and looked and continue to do so, but I cannot see why it is doing this?

I know the pricing structure is a little complex (starting prices are higher than the actual end price - check drop downs) but i can't understand why it replaces the end '5' with a '0' and in some cases even adds a random price, as with this particular product.

I've sussed it!

If you visit the link above, it is taking the lowest attribute price, as it says it will, but is also adding another attribute, the Double Pole Print? attribute, which then equates to £13.90 - not sure why it would do that.

Price by Attribute means that you have to take the lowest price of each attribute group and add them together to make up the display price ...

If you are not needing that feature, turn it off ...

A Product with Attributes is not necessarily Priced by Attribute ...

Re: Products displaying incorrect price - v.1.3.6

Thanks Ajeh

At this stage it is the only useable way I can see of displaying product prices, especially for this set up.

But this is definitely the way I need to think, to move away from pricing by attributes.

The only problem is, I have now done away with pricing by attributes for a test product, here http://www.logo-golfballs.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=70_72&products_id=213 and added a price to the product. However, when adding to basket and checking out, it is taking the price of the product and combining it with the product attribute, so for this test product, if I go for 12-15 doz, that's £18.95 + £18.95 per doz!

I am not sure how i can get around this as I want the full prices to show in the attribute drop down, e.g.:

12-15 doz (£18.95)
16-25 doz (£17.95)
26-50 doz (£16.95)

and not like this, which is the only alternative I have found so far:

12-15 doz (£0)
16-25 doz (- £1)
26-50 doz (- £2)

Which isn't really clear enough and not very useable.

If you can suggest an alternative that would be great

I am trying to get round this problem as well. Have raised this in another post http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?p=316569#post316569 but if people are looking at this post would like to back this up a requirement too. It is doubling the price when adding to th cart.

Thanks
