Protected area is this possible

Let me try and explain what I mean. I purchase graphics from various artists for some of my products. They wish for their graphics to be placed on family friendly sites. Which is fine. I was wondering if it is at all possible to create a protected area, using a password that people can ask for or I can get give them access via their account? Did that make sense? Thanks for your time.

or, would it be possible to create a sub domain with zen cart set up and have that password protected? Just getting thoughts and ideas out there lol

It is password protected. The member has a user and password to get into this area. Is this possible?

There are ways to password protect dir's and it appears that you have done this.

What are you asking? Do you want this to be within Zen Cart or what use for the protected area are you envisioning?

She has a site where some products are offered free or at a discount to paid members only. This a non zen site. But she would like to do something similar with a zen site if it is possible.

Have a look at admin > customers > group pricing

You can create a group that you wouyld manually add customers to and they can have privilages others do not.

Search here for others approaches to limiting this to selected items etc.

I was wondering the same thing. I can see how to give certain pricing to certain groups, but how can you make sure that only those groups can see those products?

If you don't want all products viewable to all people. Like a dealer login where they can purchase certain things and nobody else knows you're the supplier.
