How do I create daily specials?

Searched for it, but I could not it.

How would I go about doing this and making it easy to change daily?

There's no real mechanism to do this. If you had a set cycle of specials (every monday, hats are on sale; every tuesday, pants are on sale), you could automate it, but otherwise you'd have to go through the admin screen.

You could set the specials start and end dates ... these get automated to change for you ... so you can set them in advance ...

This is the same with SaleMaker Sales ... you can configure them for now and in the future ...

So what if I wanted to do this for a whole category or subcategory?

Would I have to manually start and end each item?

You might look at SaleMaker ... a Sale is designed to manage the price on a whole Category or Categories of Products based on that Product's master_categories_id and these can be dated for a start and ending date ...

I think that might work, but how do i show it on the front page, and could I add something like a graphic or so?

There isn't an easy way at the moment to display just the Products on Sale with Salemaker ...

Currently, the price is adjusted where it is used vs a group of products that were put on sale ...

There are some functions built in that could help you in doing this, but I would have to literally sit down and code it to tell you which ones and how to customize a Sale page based on the zillion ways a Sale in Salemaker can be configured ...

Im sorry to hijack your thread but Im also interested in this topic. Ive just created a sale for all my categories but its when I activate it, the text Ive typed isnt showing on my home page. I cant see what Im doing wrong. Is there somehere I can view step by step instructions of how I can set up a sale for all categories please?:sleepy:

Sales and Specials are two different things ...

Sales do not show in the Specials ...
