Help with fabric measurements and decimals

I am selling fabrics online in 0.5 metre quantities and I have noticed that an error message appears at the checkout page-but the amount total is correct. I selected 1 for decimal quantites but I'm still getting the error message. I also get an error message in relation to the 'estimate shipping' amount saying it can't be calculated and to contact the store owner. This is with the Australia Post Module. I am using Zen Cart 1.3.6. I have already had one annoyed customer call me, so if someone could help by explaining what I need to do in very simple step by step language I would appreciate it.:smile:

I'm not very sure about where I have to install that link as the program was set up for me by someone else and they are now not replying to my emails. If you could tell me where I need to look and insert the link I would be very happy>:smile:

For now, comment out 2 of the messages at the bottom of the file around lines 1847 - 1873:
/includes/classes/shopping_cart.php

I'm not very good at this and I apologise for what might seem like silly questions but where do I look for this file to alter and which url do I post it to. I'll buy you a cup of coffee.:smile:

You need to get a copy of file via ftp, from your zencart install, and download to your computer.. then BACKUP that file BEFORE altering..
Alter file as Ajeh has instructed, then reupload file to correct
directory in zencart install, via ftp.
However I see from another forum post today, that there is also
a problem with Australia Post Mod, as at

This may have also have a bearing on your problem.
