title bar... last question

If you are referring to your last post,
define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', 'Sawhorse Jewelry Designs<br />Unique equine themed silver jewelry');

then add this:

define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '<span style="font-size:112%">Sawhorse Jewelry Designs</span><br />Unique equine themed silver jewelry');

Or use: strong, big, bigger, whatever gets the Font size you want. Only that one line is going to be affected.

Is possible to modify the title bar by modifing

includes/modules/meta_tags.php

first of all, do a backup of this page <--that's strongly important

is the main meta_tags controller, and have a lot of things you can do.

if you want to take off the price, simply rewrite some lines that contain the word "price", or if you dont understand much php, simply delete some lines that display the word "price" and be testing as be changing; for example:

1-delete: $meta_products_price
2-preview site... if does'nt work pass to instruction 3
3-delete other line with word "price"
4- go to instruction 2
that's all

just reformule the syntaxis, if you are advanced user of php,
or detroys the syntaxis if you are amateur :-D ha ha ha...

I am torn.

I understand that the stylesheet should be where you "change the style" of your text etc. However, below is how we have changed the style of the header tag in the header.php and it works great.
define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT','<span style="font-size:112%">Sawhorse Jewelry Designs</span><br />Unique equine themed silver jewelry');

Of course I want to make a change. I would like the top "Sawhorse Jewelry Designs" to be a different color than the default color in the stylesheet. And I bet there is a PHP way of doing this. (Which I know not how.) However, would it be "better" to do two tags in the php file and then define each tag's font & color in the Stylesheet?

Any thoughts on 1st (How to do it in PHP) and the 2nd your feeling about doing it in the stylesheet.

Well I answered my own question:

1st I felt that the stylesheet should be used rather than the header.php file to make style changes. So I first went to the tpl_header.php and added tagline2 below tagline so I could change the color and font size of a second line of the sales tag as follows:

  <div id="tagline2"><?php echo HEADER_SALES_TEXT2;?></div>

2nd I went to the stylesheet.css and added after #tagline (which is associated with HEADER_SALES_TEXT) #tagline2 (which is associated with HEADER_SALES_TEXT2)

#tagline2 {
color:#CC0000;
font-size: 2.0em;
text-align : center;
vertical-align: middle;
}

And everything works!!
