Item Price with attributes.

I am new to Zen Cart so if this has been asked before, please excuse me. I did search the forum and came up empty. Is there a way to have a running total displaying the price of the current item along with the price of any chosen attributes? At present, you must add the item to the cart to see the total price of the4 item. I want to show that price on the item page next to the attributes drop down list.

Adding to cart to develop the price is the current method. You would have to add significant code to have this happen on the product page.
