Unable to order products from site

My site is almost set up, so I thought I would dry run an order so I signed on.

Guess what - no quantity boxes or ordering capabilities! What in the world did I do??? :shocking: While the shopping cart does show a very helpful "empty", I cannot seem to find a way to change it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm sure this is a DFU problem (dumb ____ user) - meaning me.

I also should say that I am running my store in normal mode.

NEVERMIND - I had set up separate product types, but during upload defaulted everything to Product - General. That type was NOT set to go to cart while the specific ones were! Thought process was this is how I would control my sales as the items were not ready for selling yet!

That's what I get for thinking that process up in the middle of the night. Thought I would follow up in case anyone else had a similar situation.
