Category listed but link not working?

Evening all, just a quick question.

It's been a long while since i last added a category to my site.

Unfortunatly when you click the category it's going to an error page :|

The site is https://www.privatepleasureonline.co.uk and the category is the bottom category on the right called Valentines Day SPECIAL.

Trying to get to the bottom of this lol, thanks in advance.

looks like a bad redirect link.

if its hard coded try removing **! & the ' ** in the address or remove it from the categories admin and see what happens.

Also that type of site is not really pleasurable to the viewing eye, but I will assist you as much as possible. Without going to the direct coding itself, you can try disabling the seo mod and see if that works.

Most likely it is the SEO translations because of the special characters ...

Turn off SEO ... does it work?

Turn on SEO, and change the category name to Valentine ... does it work?

If so, then the SEO is not able to translate properly for the special characters of the explination point and apostrophe and you get a bad URL ...

Thanks for the reply guys, unfortunatly my head isn't screwed on this morning ( very tired been working way too hard lately lol), where abouts is it that i can disable and re-enable the SEO plugin?

go to admin --> configuration --> SEO URLS--> Enable SEO URLs? to false

I don't seem to have that option, maybe i don't have it installed?

Maybe i don't have it installed? I'm using an older version of Zen Cart 1.2.5? I believe. I havn't dont alot with the admin side, only in the early days.

No contact with the old admin who did alot of the early work for me.

If i create a Sub category no matter how i word it, it access's it, but i cant create a new non sub category.
