Admin area -> Tools -> Layout Boxes Controller -> Reset (at the very bottom) should fix it

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

Hello

When you download the silverfish from the download section, you will have two folders inside includes that are modules and templates. the categories_tabs.php in the folder modules is what caused me the problem you should copy it to your website directory www/your_domain/includes/modules.

Hope this would help

Sorry for my english taht is not that good :(

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

I would like the bg_header.jpg to not wrap. I tried the instructions on page 10 of this thread, but then the image is missing. The original template code is:
/*
header
/
#headerWrapper {display: block; background: #88a0c2; height:1%; /IE Hack/}
#headerBackground {width: 100%; height: 85px; align: center; background: url(../images/bg_header.jpg) repeat-x #88a0c2;}
/
#logo {float: left; position: absolute; top: -45px; left: 20px;}*/
#logo {display: none;}
#navMainWrapper {width: 100%; background-color: #1D5685;}
#navMain {margin-top: 0px; width: 100%; color: #fff; background-color: #1D5685;}

my url is http://shadycreekonline.com I'm going to put it back to original again, any help is appreciated.

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

I got really close to the look I wanted by saving the text as the logo.gif and altering the logo size in header.php. Just thought I'd post in case it can help someone else.

I am a total newb, so if anyone can point me to a link or something to make text like that and not have the white around it....

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

tripwire:

I had a problem with the Grey background of the Left column (boxes). They were bleeding over in the the center portion of the site. I adjusted the column widths and it looks fine on the Home page. However I still have the bleeding on my other pages (product pages). How do I correct this?

hi tripwire,

I think I have the same problem ...

for me, it only happens on IE 6

it has something to do with the column sizing.

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

qhome:

I dont see any bleed over on your site. Tested with IE7, FF, Opera 9.x.

In other news:

I created a modified header to fix the problem with the header bg not showing up on IE6. Its a quick and dirty fix by using a table to hold a dedicated height. I also moved the logo within the table to prevent it from staying still while the rest of the site moved around it.

Im testing it out now. Seems to work well on all browsers and all resolutions. Ill upload it in a day or two after I clean it up a bit.

for tripwire's site the bleed over problem is in the left column and only is seen when you click on a catagory and the submenu expands.

this also happens on my site, under IE 6 only.

hey tripwire,

I think I fixed the problem.

Try this:

in admin panel, under config > layout settings

set the "column width - left boxes" slightly greater than
"column width - left"

my settings are 170px and 165px respectively.

originally the values were the same, and the bleed over problem existed. now it is gone !!!

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

Hi,

New to the whole Zen cart experience so excuse my newbie-ness. I've just installed the Silverfish template (http://bionutrition.co.uk/zen/) and everything seems to be working OK, except that the background image does not display in the header.

I've gone through this thread and note that there was a similar issue with IE6, which I believe has now been fixed in the version of the template that I've installed. However, I'm using Camino and Safari not a version of IE.

I transferred the files in the download to the ../zen/includes folder, and it all seems to be in the right place so I can't understand why I can't see the image.

Any ideas for a somewhat perplexed student of Zen?

Thanks

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

OK, got the image to display (sort of) because there was an all-important "p" missing from a line in the stylesheet. The corrected line is:

#headerBackground {width: 100%; height: 85px; align: center; background: url(../images/bg_header.jpg) repeat-x #88a0c2;}

It still doesn't look the same as in the preview picture, though, and I'm a bit stuck (only came across this fix by accident) so any suggestions gratefully received.

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

Hi,

It's not the side boxes I'm worried about - it's more that the header still doesn't look right.

Thanks.

"bg_header.jpg" resides in .\includes\templates\silverfish\images
replace that file with your image. Then it should come up.

Re: Silverfish Template - zc137 - Bluish/Silver Professional

:blink:Newbie here.
I've uploaded the template from your template folder along with the mod into the mod folder but when I go to change the template, it doesn't show as a template but... it does have the option to preview it on the right side of the page where you edit them. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

marine76
