Show Contents of Shopping Cart

Is there a way that when you add items to the shopping cart, you can see a box that updates in real time what your cart contents are?

Can we skip the step of having to click on "View Shopping Cart" to see what is in the cart and just have a box that updates the contents of the cart as you add items to the cart?

there is a really kool sidebox that does this for you already built into zen,
take a look in admin -> tools -> sidebox manager

Does this "sidebox" allow the shopper to see what they have/are adding to their cart? Does it update as items are added to it?

Yes, the box is updated as items are put in or removed.
