Hiding Category Name (div #indexCategories ?)

Hey Guys,
I was wondering if there's an easy way to do this...
I've been trying to look in the tpl_index_product_list.php and tpl_index_categories.php files

in the tpl_index_categories.php file I removed the portion:

(approx. @ line 35)

... still no luck.

I would like to remove the heading that reads "Christian/Inspirational" that is directly above the banner.

If you are referencing the one in the side box go to:

admin > catalog > categories and products > either delete it or using the colored dots at the right of this entry under status click the green box to make it inactive

i have the same question. I just want to delet the text of the title in product page, and keep the category and image. if I follow your instruction it will delet the product. Need help :blink:

I have one question to ask. I use a category for my home page (ID# 12 for example)
I hid the title and leave it as blank, so it would show on the category box
The products still show on the home page. Is this good way for my engine search or bad?
