Increase size of center WELCOME GUEST area

HI all,
Here is my site in progress...

I would like to "stretch" out the center area just a little bit so that the paragraphs aren't quite as squished....were do I edit that ?

Also, the pale blue area on both sides, I would like opinions on leaving it that way or adding my background image (the purplish,bluish image surrounding my frog logo) to that area instead. I wanted to see what it would look like, but haven't been able to find the correct place to edit it. I "thought" I had the right file, but in the end, it changed nothing.
Would it be "too" if the sides were a little more narrow (when I make the center more wider) ?

These are images and themes that I use for my eBay auctions and I would like it to blend together if someone is coming from my auctions or eBay store to this store.

you can increase the mainWrapper width in your stylesheet.css
You will probably have to make some adjustments to your logo afterwords

I seem to have a problem tho.....
Here is what my wrapper shows

#mainWrapper {
background-color: #ffffff;
text-align: left;
width: 780px;
vertical-align: top;
}

Do I just increase the 780px? I also have another embarassing problem...I forgot where I found the correct stylesheet.css file:blush: (wow, could i BE any more of a newbie!)

I'm running the searches to find it, but its not finding anything.
Can someone please post the directories to it... Thanks!

yes just increase that to what ever width works

includes/templates/bluestrip_reloaded/css/stylesheet.css

Thanks again .... but that is the file that I keep editing and yet nothing changes. It shows 780px and I've got it set to 2000px, just to see if the changes were so small that I couldn't see it, but nothing.

Do I need to change the sizes of something else on the home page to get the increase to work?

Delete stylesheet_OLD.css from your css folder. That'll do it! :smartass:

OK, now I have other issues...as was mentioned above, with my logo not fitting, which i can edit the jpg myself to make it bigger, BUT.... the LilleyPad Gifts is no longer below the logo, its to the right of it.
Any and all hints welcomed!

Ok, figured it out and got it centered :D :D :D

NOW about the light blue side areas....I'm going to post another post because someone might be looking for that info outside of the Increasing size of center.
