Where to Rearrange the Product Page info?

I'm not happy with how my product pages look. I've only put in two test items.. they happen to be comics.

I would like for the page to have show the info needed in a more .... I don't... uniform shape ?

For example, I would like for the pic to be on the top right, below it the price.
on the left could be :
Publisher :
Year :
Condition/Comments :

something along the lines of how my first store is set up

but not as complicated :smile: considering I had helpers with that site.

Can somebody point me in the right direction as to what to edit and play around with to maybe make the changes or something simular to the changes that I'm looking for?

Also, since we will be selling a lot of other things besides comics, I would need to be able to change the look per the type it item.

Depending on the versions - you could copy the tpl_product_info_display.php file from your other site and use it or compare it to a default file and rearrange the items/code in a similar manner
Also, since we will be selling a lot of other things besides comics, I would need to be able to change the look per the type it item.

If you are talking about moving the items areound per product - this is complicated as this view uses the same file for all displays

My other site was osCommerce, so not sure if that would matter or not. It was also edited by someone that works with the code who was helping me create the site. I will still see if I can find that file that you mentioned tho.
About the multiple types of items, I really didn't want to MOVE the items around per product. I'm not sure how to explain this, but I'll give it a try anyway...

Here is a product page that I copied and edited. I would like for the words NOT underlined to be particular to that product, BUT I know that would take a lot more time and knowledge then what I have, I do, however, have TagBot to make it look that way if I just copy and paste the code from it. BUT the "shape" of the page is sorta what I would like. I actually like for it to be a little wider since it all seems so cramped into the space, I could probably shrink the image a little since they will want to enlarge it anyway to see condition.

Is any of this making sense??? Its all up here in my head, but really hard to put it out there in writing...LOL! :wacko:

Actually, I just resized the image on the product page. When I look at the second comic that I posted (for the outrageous price of $590!) it looks simple, cleaner and makes sense.

Anyone care to offer their opinion on it?
