How to Set an IP Address Address to Appear as googlebot Visit
I am using OptiSpider from windrosesoftware.com to spider my site to check my links, link text popularity, and report external links on my site. I need to modify Zen-Cart to allow me to define my IP address as an address that should react the same was as if the User-Agent googlebot was visiting the site. Basically this is to turn off the zenid for spidering, just as the googlebot would see it. I seem to be stuck on where or how I could do this. Or is there a way to turn of SID temporarily while I run my site link check?
