Enableing free shipping for items based on weight AND total$

Hello!
I am wanting to give clients free shipping if they purchase for a certain total and weight.
EX: Below 1kg and over 30.00$. However I do not want them to get free shipping if they buy for 30.00$ but have items weighing 10kgs...

I'm not sure if the freeoptions module would solve my problem because it just doesn't want to work...even without the freeshipper module. :blink:

Somewhere I have a thread posted on the freeoptions where you can change the ORs to ANDs to get it to work on a double condition like you are wanting ...

Where I put that off hand I do not know ...

But you might try searching around for it until I or someone else happens to find it ... :smile:

The Free Options freeoptions is like any other Shipping Module ... it shows when all of the other shipping modules show ...

Free Shipping freeshipper shows only when the cart is all Always Free shipping or 0 weight and 0 weight is defined as Free Shipping ... when it shows then none of the other shipping modules show ... if the other shipping modules show then this one doesn't show ...

NOTE: If you are trying to make Free Options freeoptions the only shipping module when the conditions are met then you will have to do additional custom coding to not show the other shipping modules ...

Meanwhile ... you might search for that post on freeoptions where I showed what settings to change for the ORs and ANDs ...

Ok.
My boss wants this to be finished very soon (a week). So we are ready to pay someone to do this...:wink2:

This is what we need:
1-Give free shipping on two conditions instead of one (and instead of or)
2-We want to keep Canada Post as our main shipping option.

Current problems:
1-No clue how to do this (haven't found any helpful posts, I actually just go more confused... )
2-The freeoptions module doesn't work when a zone is set (ex: Canada). No idea why! (so even if I wanted to clone it, it still wouldn't work)

Anyone want to do it? Or do you know anyone who could?
