Major problem with EZ pages - please help

Hi

I have a major problem with EZ pages.

I can see the module, I can use the internal and external links, but when making a HTML pages it is empty. I can see it in the menu, and I can press on it, making it change to the page. But at the page, nothing is written (isent showing my html)

Have tried only to write test, but not even that work.

Can You help me please :)

Is there a option in admin I must set to see it?
Or can anyone tell me where to look in PHP code if it is not a wrong option?

I have 2 languages and have therefore the language fix installed.

Looking forward to your reply :)

Thanks

Kind Regards
Kim :)

Re: Major problem with EZ pages - please help

Do you have anything in those link boxes/areas?

On the bottom of EZPages, there is a statement which says, if you put something in these areas, the HTML/text portion of the page will not show -- the system will use the info in these areas -- at least that's how I read it.

Re: Major problem with EZ pages - please help

a URL would be helpful. Still somewhat new myself but having been working with ZC for a couple weeks now, many hours a day, maybe something will stick out to me.

Re: Major problem with EZ pages - please help

Go into Tools > Developers Tool Kit and do a search on EZPages it will list all the files. Be sure to select "all files" for complete list.

Since the link shows up in the box, the module is active and I do not think there is anything else to 'turn on" to see it.

I am not familiar with the language packs so I do not know if this is effecting the EZ pages. You might consider removing the language pack and see if the EZ Pages are working without it. This might help to isolate where the problem is.

However, I suggest a search on the forum for "language packs" and see if anyone has had any difficulties with EZ Pages because of a language pack install. This could prove more useful than researching EZ pages by itself.

If that language pack search does not help, I would consider using that search list from the Developers Tool Kit to re-install all the EZpages files, just to be sure everything is clean.

If none of this corrects the issue, post again.

Re: Major problem with EZ pages - please help

I will do that - but it properly will take a little while ;)

I was to fast in my earlier reply....... :(

New sites I made using EZ pages have the same problem. But when I uninstall language pack and install it again it seems to work.

So I will try to look for an answer in forum as your write and to re-install language pack :)
