additional fields in the checkout

Hello, I would like to have some more fields in the checkout section. I need to gather some additional info on the customers, and they need to fill out some forms with their order.

I dont see any mods or anything that do this,
thanks

Re: additional fields in the checkout

Well, not so much that.

I need extra customer specific fields. For example, I need not just their address, but need their favorite color, fav rockstar, fav fruit, fav vegetable, fav movie, etc etc.

I have seen some threads describing the manual addtion of one field, and I suppose I could expand on that.

Hoping that there is a mod that can add/subtract fields from the admin, or whatever.

thanks,
juglesh

This does not exist for adding but in admin/config/customer details there are some that you can toggle on or off!!

Re: additional fields in the checkout

Juglesh, these are things you may wish to gather during account creation, rather than at checkout.

Good luck,
Scott

swguy: Sure, In my mind, thats all the same. But yeah, so unless there is an easier way, I'll find those threads about manually adding fields in. Wish me luck!
