Changing the days and months???

Hi there,

I have got a store here in Portugal and I have been slowly translating all the PHP into Portuguese Portuguese (Not Brazilian Portuguese).

Although it is all going well there is one thing I can't seem to find and that is the file where the days and months are.

I would like to know which file I should look for and where.

All I want to do is change the days (ie Monday into Segunda-feira etc) and the months (March into Março etc) into their Portuguese equivalent.

Any help would be grateful,

Are you trying to create a language pack for Portuguese? If so, I'd suggest downloading one of the language packs from the downloads section and trying to follow what was done to create it.

No, I'm not making a language pack (I wouldn't know where to start lol)

I'm just changing the bits'n'bobs into Portuguese and it's getting there. The only thing I seem not to be able to find is the file which has all the Days and Months writen down. All I would like to know is which file is it.

Try going into the admin and looking under tools->Developers Tool Kit to search for "January" in all files (admin and catalog). I found the answer that way, but it'd be good for you to try it. I don't know about changing those particular files since they'll be overwritten in an upgrade. :(
