Fax Number in account editing
Barely a bug this, more of an inconsistency in functionality ...
... if you turn off fax number in Admin, it is not available to add as part of the account creation process. However, it is still available to edit on the edit account details page.
IMHO if the store owners decides they don't want to collect fax numbers, then they should be turned off consistently across the site. In the UK this poses a potential legal problem (though it's unlikely to manifest itself in practice) as "data holders" may be required to the provide a rationale for holding any data item held, which could be difficult if it wasn't actually wanted in the first place.
The solution is simply to wrap lines 60-62 of tpl_account_edit_default.php with the condition> <?php
if (ACCOUNT_FAX_NUMBER == 'true') {
?>...
<?php } ?>
