How easy is Zen Cart to add products to via a web interface

I am planning to set up Zen Cart for an online shop, before I install it on my server I was interested to know how easy it would be for my client to add products to as she may not have much web design experience.

You don't need any design experience to add products - the admin interface is very straightforward. The only real trick is in image preparation, but if you install the Image Handler 2 module, all the hard work is taken out of that too.

You might want to purchase the handbook for your client too. It will be an invaluable resource and save you time and headaches answering questions.
