Turn Off All sideboxes except shopping cart sidebox during checkout pages

Under the right column IF add a left column IF and don't forget to specify which pages also:

  if ($_SESSION['cart']->count_contents() == 0 || in_array($current_page_base,explode(",",'list_pages_to_skip_all_right_sideboxes_on_here,separated_by_commas,and_no_spaces')) ) {
    $flag_disable_left = true;
  }

This Code provided by Ajeh, disables the left sidebox column when the sidebox cart is empty, I added in a few other pages to clean up the other login pages..(create_account,create_account_success)

Having a quantity discount module the total on step 2 of 3 differs from shopping cart [more] right side sidebox.
Ok, went through this step with the following and switched left to right but I only want shopping cart.php to explode:

I am a little confused with what files to modify from this post. I want to turn off all my sideboxes when customer is as shopping cart page. I have COWOA and FEC loaded and sideboxes are already gone from billing and checkout pages. I would like shopping cart page to have NO sideboxes also. I do not have shopping cart sidebox activated. 

Can you tell me which file to change? code?
