Adding additional column to product listing?

I've searched throught the forums and such.. Is there a way to add an additional column to the product listing page? I'm afraid to edit the product_listing.php. I want to have another category the user can sort the product by. Many Thanks!:blush:

Look in the downloads section for a mod called Column Layout Grid.

Thanks for the reply. Aye, I had Column layout grid installed. I'm looking to add an extra column that displays my custom attribute. Example... I want to add a column for a product's heat level.. so when the product listing comes up, it would show...

Product Name - Description - Heat Level - Price

That way the customer could sort by heat level. I have already added a custom attribute... but I can't get it to show on the product listing page :no:.
