Am I an idiot?

I've been trying to change the header for 2 days now and still am having no luck. I don't really have any idea what I'm doing. I followed the steps in this tutorial and the name of my template is showing up in the admin panel when I try to change the template but once changed none of my images show up. Here is my site . Can someone please help me before I throw my computer out the window?:down:

Now go to your Admin> Tools> Template Selection - Is faerydae_template the one that is selected?

Yes, it is selected. I finally got the header image to show up but now it's all the way to the left with text on the right. I don't want any text and I would like the header and the entire site centered (like the Classic Contemporary Green template) if that makes sense.

Try adding this to your stylesheet.css

#logoWrapper {text-align: center;}

Chris, you have a stray curly bracket in your stylesheet. I've highlighted it in red.

       .centerBoxContents, .specialsListBoxContents, .categoryListBoxContents, .centerBoxContentsAlsoPurch, .attribImg {float: left;}

#logo {align: center;}

Thank you apo...I removed the stray bracket but the image still isn't centered. I'm at a total loss...

You have

#logo {align: center;}

It should be

#logo {text-align: center;}

See if that works.

It worked! Thank you so much! Now I just have to try and get the rest of my images to shop up and in the right places...I didn't realize how difficult this was going to be.

I figured out how to get another image to show and changed almost all of the colors (still playing). One thing I can't find though is the grey/blue box at the bottom, can anyone tell me what it's called so I can find it in the code?

You'd change the background color in your stylesheet (at the top) here:

1. The pink bar in the middle, right under "welcome", is there any way to put an image directly over that?

2. How can I make the rest of the page line up with the header that I have at the top of the page...the width I mean.

You have the breadcrumb turned off on the main page.

to change the color:
