Copying and importing files folders, files

I'm trying to copy css folder and files like it says in the tutorial for customizing your template. when I click on copy this file and place it in the custom folder. After you click on copy this file - please select where you what to copy(file name) I cant get it to the custom folder. I've tried several times and clicked on public_html figuring it will get to the custom file and clicking there with no results
Is there suppose to be 2 css files one public-html and the other in templet_default:dontgetit

Sounds like you are using cpanel on your server to do this.

It is much easier to have the files on your PC and FTP them to your server.

Thanks for your help. However, I am trouble copying/downloading my files to my computer. I click on my public_html folder and it shows its contents but when I click on 'download' it doesn't do "anything".

how do you "copy and or download" a file to your computer?
