horizontal rules between categories on category pages

I have come across a couple of templates that have the horizontal rules between the categories on the categories pages, like on the "all products" pages. I have seen several references to it requiring a lot of custom code to create this.

But it would seem to be something that could be copied from one template to another (basically) to implement the feature in a template that didn't provide for the HR...

The "Candied Apple" template contains the HR I am taling about and it can be viewed at

And I woud like to implement this capability on several sites that do not provide for this in teir templates.... for example...

Failing that can anyone point me to where I couold make a change that would add space between the categories on the category pages? I want to separate the pictures, you xan see why at

Just find or add this to your stylesheet.css and adjust to suit:

.productListing-data {
        padding-bottom: 1.5em;
        border-bottom: 1px solid #000000;
        }

Excellent, thanks Kobra, I also added...

padding-top: 1.5em;

to gain the same spacing between the HR and the pictures, above and below...

Having always worked with Front Page and using tables I haven't really been exposed to the underpinnings in CSS or even raw HTML for that matter. But I have been doing web sites for some time now and gennerally just need to be pointed in the right direction to get the job down.
