Payment Modules Are Gone?

Hello,

I would really appreciate some help regarding my Zen-Cart system.

I am trying to install the PayPal Payment Module.

In my Admin I click on Modules > Payment.

Sometimes PayPal comes up on the list of Modules, and other times it doesn't. When it is there, I click on it to enter in my data, and the Info box disappears.

This is the case with ALL the payment modules. When you click on them, you don't get an info box with INSTALL, or any other information. So I have no way to install PayPal!

This doesn't happen with anything else in my admin interface.

Any help would be appreciated as I have to get this setup by today!

Is there anyone out there who knows what this is all about, or do you think maybe it is just a bug in the system?

Try re-uploading the /includes/modules folder right over the current files

Usually this will happen if you have mixed up the files in:
/includes/modules/payment
/includes/languages/english/modules/payment

Where code goes in the first directory and language files in the second ...

Another common error is to have extra files or renamed files in these directories as they are self loading and will throw errors ... this includes files that are backups or renamed as old etc.

Look at a clean download of Zen Cart v1.3.7 to see what files belong where ...

I was just about to download product on web site and all of my shipping and payment modules completly dissapeared. The only thing that I have done is add a amazon affilliate banner, now even the color on my template is gone (completly white background).

And if you remove that code for the amazon banner?

My ISP looked at the files, and they said the reason the Payment module was crashing was because the coding was bad in the Zen-Cart program. So they went in and fixed the entire program. THANK YOU ISP! LOL. (it's good that my ISP is a good family friend of ours)

Yes I am sure it is the terrible code in Zen Cart that works for everyone else but on your site that needed to be fixed ...

Glad your hosting guy could fix the code to work specifically for your server ...

Yeah, don't think I didn't tell him myself that I thought it was the server. :smile:

It's just what he said, I am not complaining, at least it works now! LOL.

And no, I think Zen-Cart is an awesome cart. Why do you think I chose it over all of the other carts available out there?
