Panels / Side Boxes Help Plz

hey guys just a question, ok so i have installed the zen cart, and would like to modify it a bit, heres what i want to do.

Remove from the right:
Sponsors
Search
Have you seen...
Languages
Whos Online
Currencies

Remove from the left:
Sponsors
More information
Information

Move from right side to the left side:
Shopping cart [more]

How would i go about tackling this and is it possible? Any help is always appreciated, thank you in advance.

Might peek in the Tools ... Layout Boxes Controller ...

Then setup the sort order and which column you want the sideboxes to appear in ... :smile:

There are other settings in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... if you are trying to turn off the Right Column Globally ...

thank alot, that helped out alot , it's exactly what i expected. One more thing for you if you dont mind, the banner ad @ the bottom of every page, below where it shows the user's IP# and Zen (C), how would i remove that? Before going much further ... I'd read the /docs and the Tutorials/FAQs and perhaps peek through the Forums for templates and design and get your own template and override system setup ...

Currently you are using the Classic template ...

If you were to upgrade you would wipe out and destroy all of your changes ... and you would be doomed ... :eek:

ok, do you recommend any good templates? But could you answer my question none the less and tell me how to rid my page of the ad?

Time for new glasses.....when you were in the tools menu for the sidebox controller, the banner manager was right there......maybe take a little time to review the menus......
