Adding information to order e-mail/invoice.

Is it possible to add extra information to the order e-mail?

  1. Example: The products in our catalogue don't have tax added to them - however, in the invoice e-mail, we want to note which products are taxable, and which products are not taxable for accounting purposes. The calculation and bill-back of taxes is handled separately, but accounting needs to know which items the tax is applicable to. So the short question is, is it possible to show tax/nontax for each item?

  2. I posted a thread about adding some extra customer information (fields) during signup. Is it possible to get that information shown in the e-mail as well!

Thank you for any insight anyone can provide!

Answer to 1 => YES
Answer to 2 => YES

In both the cases you would have to dig up the variables which are storing the info to get to the email class
