Mod to Products Description listing

On the site I have for my client, they want one line of the description on the main page and the rest of it when they click on the item. How can I do this?

Thx

Re: Mod to Products Description listing

In admin > Configuration > Product Listing > Display Product Description, you can set the number of characters of the description that will be displayed.
Adjust this so it comes out to one line's worth.
