Same Email for 2 accounts, Cart lets it happen

I have this posted here, but I think its in the wrong place.

Here is the problem, My cart is letting people make accounts with the same email multiple times. Then if the person tries to edit anything it errors saying that that email address is already in use. Where do I start to look, I am using 1.3.2 is this a database problem or a php problem?

I got it worked out. It was b/c of the module Confirm Email Address Entry Version 1.0 , I see that there is a new version but I am not going to add it. It was skipping the check. I hope they fixed this, maybe someone who knows more about code can check the 1.3 version to see if its ok.

I have no clue, are you running it, if so its an easy check, just try to make two accounts...as for me I was reading through all the stuff and I think I read kim say something that was smart and someone else said something, most people just copy and paste that in, and the harder you make it to get an account the more people don't want to do it. I guess you could make some points to go the other way but for me I didn't want anymore problems.
