Reduced site width and move to centre.

I have been able to reduce the overall site width to 900 as required however shifting it across in the center seems to be elusive. I guess it is on the stylesheet but so far i have put in " text-align: center; " in several places with no effect. Can some one help please.

Add this to #mainWrapper in your stylesheet.css

#mainWrapper {margin: 0 auto;}

background-color: #ffffff;
text-align: left;
width: 100%;
vertical-align: top;
border: 1px solid #cccccc;
margin: 0 auto;

When I change the text-align it centers the content, what I am after is that the whole site moves to the center.

Got it sorted

It was a matter of changing in the stylesheet.css

body {

      margin: 0; 

}

to:

body {

     margin: 0 auto; 

}
