Content falling out the bottom of centerColumn

Hello all, I having a problem with the 'centerColumn' content area.

My problem is with content appearing to fall out the bottom of this centerColumn box. It is noticible on my site because I have a border around the centerColumn content area.

I think the problem is with the <br class="clearBoth" /> not taking effect in IE7. I understand the job that this clearBoth class is trying to do, BUT its not working on IE7.
IE 6, Firefox 2.0, opera 9 (PC browsers) all work perfectly

And note I have put a pink background color on the <br class="clearBoth" /> so you can see where it is :)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

(btw, just for reference, in skinning this site I have only edited the CSS, not the template)

-It is most noticeable on my homepage because images are falling out the bottom, but on other pages some buttons are.

-the css code for the clearBoth class currently is:

.clearBoth {
clear: both;
background-color: pink;
}

add height: 1%; to .centerBoxWrapper

I think you meant .centerColumn need to have height:1%; but I got what you meant.

I dont suppose you know whytf?? It works but I dont understand why!
As I understand CSS that .clearBoth should have done the job.

It's just another one of IE's bugs dealing with floats. That fix is called the "Holly Hack".

I didn't have time to look at your site in IE7, but I notice that both stylesheet_new.css and stylesheet_original.css are functioning. Delete stylesheet_original.css from the server, OR rename it stylesheet_original.bak (.bak meaning backup), so that both stylesheets aren't applied, where they may override each other. That could easily be your issue.
