Integrating Authorize.net ARB (recurring billing) with AIM

Just got off the phone with Authorize.net and they told me that the ARB API is functional as of February 18, 2007. I'm sure that this may have been holding up the ZC Dev Staff from implementing it... maybe not!

Before, you would have to let the transaction go through and then manually setup the ARB. Now, you can set it up so that it does everything all it once. One drawback I was told is that, depending on the time of the day that the transaction happens, it may not process until the next day... as opposed to the few seconds that it would normally take. Alternatively, they said that you could process the transaction normally then send some follow-up code to push it into ARB.

So, basically, I have a very limited knowledge of PHP and XML and was wondering if any wizards out there with a vested interest have any pearls of wisdom???

Not yet... too many other gremlins to figure out first. I'm not sure that I have the "know how" to do it anyway, but I'll try... eventually.

Is Authorize.net ARB orders compatible with the ZC 137? Will this require a rewrite of the AIM payment module?
