Zen stages

hi can anyone help this dummy

I am trying to set up my site on my local pc using zen cart before going live. Never set up an online site before..

I have follwed as much as i can the wiki instructions on how to install Zen cart, but no luck.

I have installed Wamp on the pc and exctracted the zen cart file..but when i at ZC_install in the wiki instraction i get nothing..

if this did work what next??

looked through the FAQ it keeps taking me back to the same wiki instrations

is there any other better instrations???

Look at your WAMP instructions - get any thing working there to understand how it works.

Have you created a DB for Zen Cart in your WAMP install?

Can your navigate in your browser to an image file at http://localhost?????

Have you read the readme files in the /docs/ folder of your ZC? They give the full instructions on actually installing ZC. That part is not in the wiki as it is well covered elsewhere. Once you start the installation process (running zc_install) the installer will guide you by itself.
