Adding the shopping cart info somewhere else...

In the blank area that is outlined in red, how would I add the shopping cart info right there (like Subtotal, Quantity, and Checkout)?

Also the other part thats selected in the picture that says "Shoes Decks" how would I remove those?

That gray bar with Shoes Decks is the categories-tabs menu. You can turn it off in admin > Configuration > Layout Settings, but when you do the bar will disappear.

You can add the cart info output code in tpl_header.php, in a new div just below <!--eof branding display-->. The cart info is prepared for display on the shopping cart page in /your_template/templates/tpl_shopping_cart_default.php. You should be able to locate variable names there and copy them to output in the header. You might also look at /your_template/sideboxes/tpl_shopping_cart.php.
