Whats this in my customers referral report?

I've just roamed around my admin section and found a "customer refferal report". It has a coupon in there that was used today. Its a code I give out on leaflets.

Other people have used it before but could you tell me why only this use has put it in this report thing please?

I've read lots of thread on referrals but none shed any light on it. thanks in advance!

What's your setting in Admin->Configuration->Customer Details for this:```
[B]Customers Referral Status[/B]
Customers Referral Code is created from
0= Off
1= 1st Discount Coupon Code used
2= Customer can add during create account or edit if blank

NOTE: Once the Customers Referral Code has been set it can only be changed in the Admin Customer

It's set to 0. I've not changed it as I daren't touch anything I don't understand! :unsure:

In the customer referral report, it basically shows all orders for that dispay date. If I put a wider date range then it basically just shows every order I've had within those dates regardless of if they've used a coupon or not.

The coupons were given out at a fair and also to existing customers as an incentive to return.

Any ideas?
