Blank price box for user-defined donation

Hello: I am working on a site for a non-profit that needs a way for site visitors to enter their own amount for donations.

I searched the forum, but the suggestions for how to do this seem to have disappeared.

Thanks,

Bob S.

Re: Blank price box for user-defined donation

Here is a thread on taking ebay payments, the idea is the same - a user defined payment amount. All you'll need to do is use the basic ideas presented here and change some wording to make it read donations instead of ebay payments.

Re: Blank price box for user-defined donation

You could also create a product worth $1.00, and let the customer enter the quantity they wish to purchase .... thus a quantity of 35 would translate to $35.00.
