look at this site i found

This site i found uses a website and a ecommerce part.
Now it doesn't seem to be linked to each other as the ecommerce 'shop now' seems to stand alone.

Is there a problem with sessions this way because I was wondering about integrating ecommerce with existing sites?

Only if I add things to my cart and am not logged in and go to the home page and anywhere besides Shop and do not return for 24 minutes and timeout and lose everything I was going to buy ... and get ticked off and never shop at your site again ... :eek:

Otherwise ... nope ... no problem ... :lamo:

I would not recommend this approach ... good way to lose old and new customers alike ...

so you can't easily add sessions to external pages to avoid this problem?
I think the problem is it is hard to integrate into an existing site for most people without much php/ZC experince. I am getting good at this but i really did have to know php to understand it.
