If you have some competence with CSS, PHP and HTML, the fundamental layout of your product page is governed by DIVISIONS in this file:-
tpl_product_info_display.php
... which sits in:-
includes/templates/template_default/templates
REMEMBER... once you "tweak" this file to your needs, it's advisable to put it into an OVER-RIDES folder so that it's not obliterated in future upgrades. DO NOT overwrite the original file... if you foul things up - (like I did at first) - you'll want to revert to the original file.
Download a copy (or make a copy from the unzipped zencart files on your hard drive), print it out, and study it for a while, looking at the computer screen so you get an idea of how the code governs the layout.
At the same time, print out a copy of the relevant CSS file(s).
The DIVISIONS are identified by the following:
<!--bof XXXXX -->
...php or html code goes here
<!--eof XXXX -->
(It's the "bof" and "eof" tags that delimit each component of the page).
NOW... things to bear in mind...
You can "juggle" these DIVISIONS around, to some degree, and this makes the component in a DIVISION appear in the desired order, compared with other components.
So if you want the PRICE to appear before the IMAGE, you'd position the DIVISION that delimits the image code AFTER the DIVISION that delimits the price code.
But you must work in conjunction with your STYLESHEET, as the new version of zencart now uses the stylesheets quite extensively to configure page layouts.
I have heard that some people "hard code" additional HTML into this file (such as tables), to force a certain layout. Bear in mind that such hard-coding may affect the CSS and you may need to write extra configurations into your CSS.
You should use a good text editor (CRIMSON EDITOR - FREE to download off the www) to make changes to any php code. Do not use notepad or any wp software.
