Turn off ZERO item categories??

I have been flopping around my admin looking for a place to turn off categories where I don't have products added yet.

Is this possible or do I have to delete the categories until I need them?

Surf the the categories list in the Admin - click the green dot to the right of the name of the category you wish to disable.

If you are showing counts in your categories box (e.g. "Galoshes (23)" ), there is a simple mod for this. See this thread, post 17, for details.

This is for if you want the function to be automatic.

I just knew the solution would be simple. :) I was looking for that red box. LOL.

I don't use category counts but thanks for the mod link in case I decide to.
