Group Pricing Per Item Issue

After applying the php fixes added in this thread;I just wanted to thank Codemonger and garyos for their hard work in rectifying most of the issues with this module.
Their help has been invaluable.

I am now in correspondence with another coder to attempt to plug all of the gaps (volume discounts, specials etc.)

I have heard that ZC1.4 will address many of these issues.

Have you succeeded in getting the correct total to show in the shopping cart?
I have done what was written in these pages over and over with no success. I notice that the session shows the incorrect total.

I have managed to get the correct bottom line total by following the instructions.
Please see the attached image.

I am still trying to sort out the subtotals!

Dave - would you be willing to show a list of the php fixes that you used to get your final total to show appropriately?

There have been so many fixes mentioned, it would be helpful to have a list of the set that you actually incorporated. Thank you!

How do I configure Group Pricing wherein I have to groups:

1. Group A (25% discount on Product 1 and 10% discount on Product 2)
2. Group B (30% discount on Product 1 and 10% discount on Product 2)

After going crazy trying to fix this & reading through the posts (ugh!), I went back to Zencart & saw that there is an update to the price_per_item patch! It's a complete redo. No changing database prefixes, etc. The database sql is identical so there's no need to wipe the tables out to make changes.

I reinstalled it right over the previous files. The only thing that's still going wrong is the subtotal is showing the default price. So if anyone can help me with fixing that, I'd really appreciate it.

I am very new to zencart and i am very interested in learning all about it. However for the problem at hand I just installed this group pricing addon and from what i understood copied all the files where they needed to be and overwriting the ones that needed to be overwritten. However I can not tell one bit of difference. I am not sure if the sql every went through or not. I mean i copied the code into the box like it said and i received 1 statement processed.
If anyone has any suggestions i would i would appreciate them thanks.

This might be a double post hopefully not. I downloaded the new group pricing per item for zencart the one that was updated in march and it is not doing anything from what i can see. I did the sql installation by going to the admin and installing the sql patch there. I got a 1 statement processed message. Then continued to copy and replace the files. Can someone please explain what is happening. I am very new i am sure there is something i did wrong. If anyone has a clue please reply.

i just got this addon installed and working the only problem i have is that in the shopping cart the per item totals are fine it's the subtotal at the bottom of the cart that is out of wack, once you continue it's into the checkout process the numbers seem fine should i tackle the shopping cart patch that's on the first page

now i noticed in the checkout that the tax is displayed to low and the total is almost ok it's a few dollars high.

what is going on with this mod

i think the taxes are off because of the split sales tax mod

the split tax was problem one in the checkout and price sensitive discounts was problem 2

Hi guys,

We have just installed Group Pricing (per Item) 1.3b into our cart. (Zen 1.3.7)

ISSUE: Customers/Customers page.

Most of the install worked fine but we have come across one main issue. This is the customers page. I have looked through as many threads as possible but cannot find too much to help.

Firstly when you go into the Customers/Customers page it shows all the usual headings etc... but does not populate the list of customers.

After a bit of playing around it came up with an error in line 1124 of the customers.php file. Looking at other posts they suggested deleting this line, which I did and then the next error line. Now we get a populated list. That's a little better.

But now on the left side we have: TEXT_INFO_ADDRESS_BOOK_COUNT
And when we do a search it comes up with:
var-type undefined: regexp(xxxxx)

The main problem for us is not being able to search our customers (we have around 1000 of them active).

I have been able to change the TEXT_INFO_ADDRESS_BOOK_COUNT by adding an entry into our language folder, so that's not as much an issue although when you click on it, we get:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: zen_get_address_format_id() in /home/fieldhockey/www/fhe/zen/admin/customers.php on line 36

I have installed group pricing per item and it actually works great. However it only works of course if the user is logged in. Which is still what i want. However I am trying to figure out how to have the current price of a product displayed in the category view but when it is clicked and the customer is taken to the product information page i would like to have the current price but also what the retail price was. I have used the specials and it works however i dont want you save this much blah on the category view. Just on the product info view. Is this possible? Has anyone been able to find out how to fix so the shopping cart sub-totals display the proper group_price_per_item instead of the regular prices?

The rest seems to be working fine, I'm using 1.3.8a with the latest group_price_per_item (march) module...

ANY help towards fixing this would be appreciated and I would be willing to give a gift towards the person that can help me as I REALLY need this module working...

I also have the sub-total issue. But in addition to that I have another one not mentioned here.

The correct price shows on all the appropriate pages, but when a product is added to the cart an extra dollar is added to the price of every item. So, an item costing 28.95 shows as 29.95 once it is added to the cart. The sub-total shows retail price.

I am making all changes to a test server, so I have been able to try a number of different configurations using a clean install every time. When I had installed the online group pricing mod and THEN installed this one I had all of the above mentioned problems except the sub-total showed the total of all those extra one dollar bills added to each item!

I did not notice that issue you just mentioned WebiWan...

Would be so nice if we can find a solution to these issues as this is a terrific module! If I were a PHP guru I would do it myself and post the solution here... sadly I'm not...

If someone has a working version of this module, can you explain how you went about it getting to work properly?
