Sub-categories in center column appearing in different pages

Hi, i hope some one can help me with this one.

I have been trying to make the sub-categories appear in the product listing and the detailed product information with no luck :(

i know i can do that with the categories side box, but i want them to appear in the center column.

Is this categoryListBoxContents part of your template ?

Well Zencart allows you to show the subcategories but just when you are located in a top category. That code is generated by zencart (i added some custom CSS things).

What i'm unable to do this far is to make the store shows the sub-categories when you are browsing the products inside one subcategory or when you are looking at a product detailed information.

I know i could paste the code at the top and that will solve the problem, but if i have to change the subcategories i will have to update manually subcategories.

I also tried to cut and paste the tags which generate that code into the pages i wanted to show them, but it didn't work :(
