Search feature doesn't work

Search feature doesn't work

Hello, Does anyone know how to get the search feature to work?
If you type a word in the search box on my site, the search doesn't find anything. Do I need to enter the words manually somewhere first?

...you have to have some products added first. Have you added any products to your store yet?

Also, do you mean in the catalog or in the admin section? I just noticed that the search function is not working in the admin section. If you go to Catalog>Categories/Products and try to do a search for a known product, you'll always end up with no results.

What version are you using?
