Discount based on total weight of order

How could i apply a 10% discount to an entire order when a certain weight has been reached in the total order?

e.g. 500g weight order is made (can be 500g of one item or 500g made up of other items) - 10% is taken off the total price

You could customize an existing /orders_total module to apply this discount based on the weight of the order ...

You might look at the ot_loworderfee as a guide and clone it then customize it to your needs ...

Or, there is an orders total module add-on by dreamscape that offers a % off the whole order that could also be customized to be triggered by the weight of the order ...

I forget off hand the name of the add-on or where it might be hiding ... :unsure:
