Urgent admin login ok, but then nothing

I was having a problem with my ssl, so my webhost changed it (went into my zen-cart files) for me, and it worked fine. Except, now I kept getting a ssl certificate warning. So today I called them back, and they fiddled with my site, and it seemed to work. Now, I can log onto my admin, but if I try to see who's online, or go to any admin page, it reverts back to the admin log in screen. The only button from the admin that works is the button to go to my storefront.

I am posting my confire.php and admin configure.php files. The XXX are passwords, etc that were not posted. I am running 1.2.6 (yes, I will upgrade soon, but I have been too busy) The php is 4.4.4. Any help is appreciated. I cannot even put the website on maintenance or do anything with the admin. Also, The admin file has been renamed.

admin confgure.php:

Re: Urgent admin login ok, but then nothing

Merlinpa1969,

Thank you, that worked. But I don't understand, my admin login has always been on the ssl. Shouldn't the admin be secured? Can you think of anything else that could cause this problem, I would like my admin secured.

Sadie

Re: Urgent admin login ok, but then nothing

I have another version of my store on my server, I am in the processing of upgrading to the latest version of zencart, and that site works fine. It is down for maintenance until I complete the transition.

Re: Urgent admin login ok, but then nothing

For anyone runing 1.2.6 and having the same problem, here is what was wrong. Somehow, my php.ini file was not in all of the correct directories. It was there before my webhost support starting fiddling with my files, then, when I called up today, they looked at it and said a file was missing. The php.ini needs to be in these files:

store/admin
store/admin/includes
store/
store/includes/

Anyway, all is well, and they fixed it for me.

I don't know, but this is what they did to my site, and it works now. Which one file is it usually in?

Hi all,
The solution is you have to clean off all the saved cookies after enabled admin + an shared SSL.
hope it works for u, too.
