setting a larger size for price onlyS

Hi everyone,
i need to change the default size for prices that appear in the product boxes in the home page (What's new, promotionals product etc...)
I've changed it in the single product page and i don't need any change in the product listing (search, etc).
I need to set it larger only in the home page.

unfortunally i cannot find any useful piece of code tha lets me change it.

I've found that tpl_modules_whats_new.php, tpl_columnar_display.php and tpl_list_box content are files that generate the tables in the homepage.
also, i know that somewhere in "class" folder ther should be some core code but i don't know what file it could be....

so, basically i need to find a piece fo code where i can assign a css class to set the price (only that) larger than the the rest of the text around.

please help me thnx a lot!

spent already too much time on it, basically it seems that there's no class applied to the price in the product listing.

i think you're right, it seems to be a "core file" that needs to be changed.
I can find a class applied to "special priced products" in which case the price is enclosed to into a block linetroughing the original price, followed by another block with the special price in red.

this was in includes/functions/functions_price.php
... and ... can this one be overriden by copying the file to
/extra_functions/ ?
