Product display - Changing font size

Evening guys n gals,

please could someone help? I have around 400x products already on the system with another 600x due to be added soon. I have now realised that my font size on the product display needs to be changed to a smalled size but instead of manually going through all the products in admin and editing it i thought someone would have a quicker and more productive way of doing it. Maybe using the stylesheet??

This depends on how the text has been formatted in the first place. A stylesheet will not (generally) over-ride hard-coded html styles.

You could look at exporting the product dbase using easypopulate, then using a tool that strips out html, get back to raw text.

This will also strip out non-fontsize tags, so if you have <ul><li> and suchlike, you may lose these.

I once used MSEXCEL to "embed" stylesheet ID's into the raw text of product descriptions. You need to know how to use CONCATENATE in excel, but once I ran the command, it put all the tags in place, then I easypopulated back to the dbase and put my style in to the css.

Hey Presto... the product descriptions behaved just as the css was asking them to!
